I spent a night at Onehome Art Hotel Shanghai, and while I appreciated the warm and cozy atmosphere during one of the coldest days in Shanghai, there were some notable drawbacks. The hotel's artistic decor was visually appealing, but the location in an industrial area felt a bit impractical. The room was clean and spacious, but the staff's English skills could have been better.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms are large and beautifully designed, featuring a spacious shower and an in-room tub. However, they aren't the most user-friendly without proper ceiling lighting.
Service
6.0
Check-in was fairly straightforward, but the staff's limited English made it difficult to get assistance with transport or other inquiries.
Location
5.0
Situated in a developing hi-tech area of Pu-Dong, the hotel is a bit far from the city center, though a metro station is conveniently close for easier access.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options, but the on-site Chinese and Japanese restaurants didn't deliver value for the price paid.
Facilities
7.0
The fitness center offers decent equipment, though I found some amenities lacking, like a treadmill or a proper pool for swimming.

I found the Onehome Art Hotel to have stylish decor and a good dining experience, but my stay was marred by a number of issues. The service was not as attentive as I expected, and there were several inconveniences that made my time there less enjoyable. While the hotel has great potential, improvements are needed in both staff training and facility maintenance.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms are nice and comfortable, but they didn't feel like a true five-star experience; they were more akin to four stars. I noticed issues like poorly maintained furniture and lighting that detracted from the overall ambiance.
Service
5.0
The service left much to be desired. There were cultural misunderstandings, such as staff not speaking English well, which hindered assistance. Additionally, when I expressed concerns about my facial cleanser being thrown out, no one took responsibility, which was frustrating.
Location
5.0
While the hotel is located in the developing hi-tech area of Pu-Dong and close to a metro station, I found it a bit far from the city center. This made it less practical for exploring the area.
Dining
8.0
Dining was one of the highlights of my stay, with plenty of options and good service during breakfast, though it closed earlier than I would have liked. I enjoyed dishes like a delicious Manchego ratatouille.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities overall were lacking. The gym was limited to only bikes and the wifi signal was poor throughout my stay. These shortcomings made it difficult to enjoy all that the hotel had to offer.

My stay at Onehome Art Hotel Shanghai was mixed. While the rooms were clean and comfortable, the service was lacking and there were a few oddities that caught me off guard. The location is definitely industrial, but it is reasonably close to the metro, making it manageable for getting to downtown Shanghai.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms are clean and in good shape, though they feel more like a mid-range hotel with mood lighting than five-star luxury.
Service
5.0
The staff's English skills were below average, and I experienced some slow service during check-in and when ordering food.
Location
6.0
Located in an industrial area, it's further from the city center, but close to the MRT which takes you downtown in about 30 minutes.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were decent, although I found the pizza overpriced and not as good as expected.
Facilities
5.0
The fitness center had limited equipment and the pool seemed shallow. Some peculiar decor choices were also a bit off-putting.

I had a surprisingly nice time at Onehome Art Hotel Shanghai, enjoying the stylish decor and the art throughout the hotel. However, I encountered a few issues with the service and some amenities that detracted from the experience. Overall, I found it more boutique than luxury.

Rooms
8.0
The room I stayed in was a nice size with a comfortable king bed and modern amenities. The large shower and in-room tub added a touch of luxury, though the smart TV could use improvement.
Service
5.0
While check-in was straightforward, the staff's English wasn't great and I faced some awkward moments when bringing takeout to my room. Unfortunately, my facial cleanser was thrown out and I didn't get the support I needed from the staff.
Location
5.0
The hotel's location is in an industrial area, which feels quite far from the city center and not practical for easy access to attractions.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast buffet was quite good with a variety of choices, and the service was commendable. However, dining options closed too early for my liking.
Facilities
6.0
The fitness center had a beautiful space, but I was disappointed to find several bikes were broken. Overall, the facilities, including the pool and spa, were decent but could use better maintenance.

My stay at Onehome Art Hotel Shanghai was a mixed bag. The stylish decor and clean, comfortable rooms gave a good impression, but the service left much to be desired. While the breakfast buffet was impressive, several inconveniences during my stay were disappointing.

Rooms
7.0
I booked a king bed, and the room was spacious with modern amenities. However, it felt more like a 4-star experience rather than a true 5-star standard.
Service
5.0
The staff seemed overwhelmed and struggled with communication, as their English wasn't very good. I faced several issues, including a misplaced facial cleanser and interruptions when bringing food to my room. These shortcomings really impacted my overall experience.
Location
6.0
The hotel is located in the developing high-tech area of Pu-Dong. While it is close to an MRT station, making transportation easy, the surroundings felt more industrial and not as central as I had hoped.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast was a highlight for me, with a great selection and good service. I especially enjoyed the homemade rolls, though it was disappointing that the dining options closed too early.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities are decent, but I found the gym lacking in variety. There were many spinning bikes but no treadmills, which was a letdown. Additionally, I noticed some quirks in the design that felt off.
